NIU's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) program prepares you for a successful career in a variety of different business functions, roles and industries: accounting, finance, management, marketing, operations management and information systems. Graduates are prepared for a wide range of entry-level positions in a variety of organizations.

Choose Your Path

NIU offers two options for BSBA students: the BSBA DeKalb program and the BSBA Rockford program. Choose the one that best fits your needs.

Is this program for you?
Incoming freshman and transfer students

Where are classes held?
NIU DeKalb Campus

What is required for admission?
For freshman admission, see Admission to NIU. As a transfer student, an Associate of Art or Associate of Science Degree with 60 credit hours including 10 pre-requisite courses (with at least a "C" or better) and minimum 2.75 Cumulative GPA are required. See Admission to NIU as a transfer student.

How long to earn the degree?
For freshmen, four years as a full-time student on the NIU DeKalb Campus. For transfer students, two years at a community college and two years on the NIU DeKalb Campus as a full-time student

BSBA Rockford

Is this program for you?
Transfer students

Where are classes held?
NIU Rockford Campus

What is required for admission?
