College Committees

Barsema Facility Committee
The mission of the committee is to provide recommendations to the College of Business Dean's Office with respect to changes, function, maintenance, and general operation of Barsema Hall facilities. The group is an advisory committee to the Dean's Office where members also serve as points of contact with College of Business stakeholders, and who meet regularly to address building-related concerns.

College Council Committee
This committee acts in an advisory capacity to the dean of the college on policy with respect to academic activities of the college; serves as the college personnel committee and advise the dean of the college concerning salaries, promotions, tenure, and sabbatical leaves; makes recommendations to the University Council concerning the policies of the college and the university; selects the college council's representatives from that college to the University Council Personnel Committee; and exercises all of the functions assigned to the college personnel committee by these bylaws. more...

College of Business Senate Committee
The College Senate considers and reviews administrative matters of the college and advise the dean of the college on such matters; assists the dean in the preparation of policy statements used to guide and operate the College of Business; advises the dean in the allocation of physical and human resources to support college-wide alliances and continuing professional education activities; and assists the dean in setting and maintaining the direction of the college in accordance with the strategic plan and the recommendations of the Strategic Planning Council. College of Business Curriculum Committee
The mission of the College of Business Curriculum is to deliver a dynamic and innovative curriculum that is technologically at the forefront; define learning outcomes and assure that students achieve these learning outcomes; prepare a foundation for learners to engage in life-long learning and achievement in a rapidly changing, increasingly diverse society. more...

Staff Council Committee
The Staff Council is a body of operating and supportive professional staff representatives whose mission is to improve the quality of the College of Business for students, faculty, businesses, and other staff members by offering a forum for their constituents to make contributions and express their ideas, concerns, and needs; providing a voice for staff by proposing actions and recommendations in response to the input received; and sharing in the implementation of the COB strategic plan. more...

Strategic Planning Council (SPC)
The SPC is an on-going body with diverse and broad-based membership. SPC members are volunteers who facilitate the design, advancement, and renewal of the College's strategic plan in order to continually help the organization to lead change. more...
