Accountancy Executive Advisory Council (AEAC)
The Department has a strong and committed Advisory Council. The Council has the following objectives:
- provide guidance to the Department for its undergraduate and graduate programs
- assist the Department in reviewing its mission statement and objectives
- provide input on other issues important to the Department in retaining its AACSB accreditation
- assist in review of courses to make sure they are relevant and appropriate in terms of content and skill development
- provide opportunities for faculty to develop relevant practical experience
- serve as contacts at firms and corporations
