Academic Advising
The advising office for lower division accountancy majors is Undergraduate Studies in Business. However, once in the upper division program or the graduate program, students receive advisement through the department. Undergraduate Accountancy Advising
Any student admitted to NIU can declare the accountancy major; however, to enroll in any 300- or 400-level accountancy courses, certain criteria must be met. For additional information, please review our BS Degree Retention Criteria.
