Accountancy Executive Advisory Council (AEAC)

The Department has a strong and committed Advisory Council.

The Council has the following objectives:

• provide guidance to the Department for its undergraduate and graduate programs
• assist the Department in reviewing its mission statement and objectives
• provide input on other issues important to the Department in retaining its AACSB accreditation
• assist in review of courses to make sure they are relevant and appropriate in terms of content and skill development
• provide opportunities for faculty to develop relevant practical experience
• serve as contacts at firms and corporations
