The Department of Accountancy continues to offer academic internships as an integral part of its accountancy curriculum. The primary objective is to apply in practice concepts and ideas, which until then have only been studied in the classroom. It also enables the student to access the correctness of a career choice.
Internships are offered for the summer, fall, and spring semesters. Internships are taken for three credit hours. During the internship, interns work full-time as accountants and are paid a salary commensurate with their abilities. Students may not enroll in other courses during the time period of their internship. Students are also responsible for activity reports, current development reports, and an oral presentation critiqued by peers and accounting professionals.
If you wish to participate in the academic internship program, it is necessary for you to adhere to the dates and requirements contained in the attachments.
