2014 Outstanding Young Alumnus
Curtis Batterton has worked at McDonald's Corporation since 2008, and presently holds the role of Legal Department Technology Advisor, which includes the responsibility of managing the department's technology portfolio of 230 users.
He has worked to develop the 3 - 5 year department technology strategy by leveraging several professional skills, that including change management, business process analysis and strategic alignment.
Prior to McDonald's, Curtis worked for Lowe's Company in a variety of roles, including marketing coordinator, financial coordinator, and the department manager of Installation Services, Delivery, and Customer Service.
Curtis earned a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management and Information Systems and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. He is currently a member of the Strategic Planning Counsel and the BELIEF Business Ethics Board for NIU's College of Business. He lives in Aurora with his husband, Ivan.
