FALL 2004
Our directors for Fall 2004 are:
Neal Cervone Neal Cervone is a 2nd year graduate student in Communication completing his program of study with an emphasis in media. Neal has an undergraduate degree from NIU with a major in Communication. He is currently has a Graduate Assistant at NIU Media Services and worked during the summer as a back-up cameraman for ABC 7 helicopter in Chicago. Neal has interned at the House of Blues in Chicago and worked with artists such as John Mayer, Dolly Parton, and Brian Wilson. Neal is from Bartlett, IL.
Kristie Woodin Kristie Woodin is a 2nd year graduate student in Communication completing her program of study with an emphasis in media. She has an undergraduate degree from NIU with a double major in Organizational/Corporate Communications and Journalism. Kristie has a Graduate Assistantship at NIU Media Services where she is a production assistant for the NIU coaches show airing on Fox Sports Net Chicago. Kristie completed a documentary entitled Emusing which was screened at the Rock River Film Festival this summer. She recently completed an internship with Lifetime Television. Kristie is from Lake in the Hills, IL.

Adam Amidei Adam Amidei worked at NTC last semester as a camera operator for the nightly news. He is currently producing a documentary on a music festival caller Bonnaroo. Adam is from Highwood, IL.
Craig Cowan Craig J. Cowan has spent the past three years working in the Communication media studies area. While working on projects like: Groove: the Philosphy of Fareed Haque (a biographical documentary), and Barb City Manor's 25th Anniversary video, he developed directing, producing, and editing skills. Over the past few years he has developed a deep passion for editing video from music videos to interviews. Craig is from Marengo, IL.
Dave Della Terza Dave Della Terza is a senior majoring in Communication and completing his last semester at NIU this December. He's produced and edited many projects, but his favorite genres are documentary and reality TV. His senior capstone television show, The Amazing Race: NIU, will premiere this September. It is his tenth reality TV show and NIU's first ever campus wide reality show. Dave is very excited to be a part of this project and looks forward to working alongside driven, motivated people. Dave is from Naperville, IL.
Keri Hofer Keri Hofer appreciates production on both a theoretical and technical level. This balanced approach has allowed her to be involved with writing, producing and directing studio and field productions. She's also had the opportunity to edit various projects on linear and non-linear editing equipment including Beneath the Shadows, a documentary on a Dundee, Illinois bank whose current tenants have experienced ghostly activities. Keri is from Richton Park, IL.
Matthew Holdren Matthew Holdren received B.A. in Communication from Northern Illinois University and is currently pursuing an M.A. Communication with an emphasis on media studies. He has worked on many video projects while studying at NIU. Matthew wants to teach film and communication when he completes his studies while continuing to make his own short documentaries. Matt is from Chicago Heights, IL.
Chris McPherson Christopher McPherson is a 1st year graduate student in Communication focusing his program of study on media. Chris has an undergraduate degree from NIU with a major in Communication. He is currently has a Graduate Assistant at NIU Media Services. Chris has worked on numerous production projects including Barb City Manor's 25th Anniversary video, and Made in Chicago, a documentary on filmmaking in Chicago. Chris is from Rockford, IL.
Brian Rich Brian Rich is a senior Communication major with an emphasis in media studies. He works with Media Services and films NIU football games and practices. He has also done camera work for the NIU basketball team and other NIU events. His documentary "Remember the Blackhawks?" won the Best of Fest at the Rock River Film Festival this summer. Brian has also worked as an intern at Production Craft, Inc. in Chicago. Brian is from Rockford, IL.
Chaz Wilke Chaz Wilke says he eats, sleeps and breathes media. He's worked in film, newspaper, and at two radio stations. According to Chaz, nothing prides him more than putting in a long day of filming and having something superb to show. "This weekly show will no doubt test tolerance for deadlines and force speed and cunning in the editing room, in short--I can't wait to start."
