Assessment of Ethical Awareness and Decision-Making
An online assessment system to evaluate core learning objectives, increased awareness, and decision-making skills has been designed and implemented.
The assessment is done via short vignettes of ethical dilemmas wherein students are asked questions related to identifying the ethical issue involved, the stakeholders affected, the alternatives available to resolve the ethical dilemma, and what choice(s) they would make. Pre- and post-assessment testing is measured so that differences across classifications can be tracked over time.
