The Board of Executive Advisors (BOEA) for NIU's College of Business plays key roles in helping the college identify strategic initiatives, develop ties with business partners, keep its curriculum current and relevant, and strengthen student and faculty relationships with current business practice. Since its inception in 1979, the BOEA has played a major role in shaping the direction of the college.
Our Board Members contribute a significant amount of time, energy, effort and attention to their role in advising the college. Members commit to a minimum three year term, but most sign up for a second term and then remain as Associate Members indefinitely. As a new dean in the College, I am very appreciative of the knowledge base and leadership experience the membership offers. It will be my pleasure to work with the Board of Executive Advisors to move the College of Business at NIU forward in the years ahead.
