College of Business Thanks Distinguished Donors on April 17th

The College of Business' inaugural Distinguished Donor Cocktail Reception brought out bright smiles and warm friends. The event, which served as a thank you to our donors, was held at beautiful Butterfield Country Club in Oak Brook. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were served.

Dean Schoenbachler's heart-warming speech was one of the highlights of the evening. She explained how donations helped a first-generation student and Lane Tech H.S. graduate return to NIU after her first year with a scholarship set up by one of our Distinguished Donors, who is also a Lane Tech alumnus. The donations also help retain the finest faculty and offer rigorous, relevant programs for students.
