Bachelor of Science in Marketing

The College of Business offers a Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing providing students many areas of study from which to choose including our two leading-edge areas: Professional Sales and Interactive Marketing. Students can custom design an area of study to fit their career goals by selecting electives to create your personal area of study and satisfy the elective requirements of the major at the same time. Examples of other areas of study include International Marketing and Strategic Marketing.

Professional Sales Program

The Department of Marketing has developed a unique niche for our majors by offering a special track of courses in professional sales. Students who complete the sales track curriculum have received sales positions with companies of their choice, and 90 percent of sales-track students are offered positions prior to graduation.

Interactive Marketing

The Department of Marketing offers an area of study in Interactive Marketing, one of the fastest growing aspects of Marketing today. Graduates with an Interactive Marketing area of study are in demand in direct marketing service bureaus, direct mail production houses, and online marketing agencies.


Student Portfolio: A Competitive Advantage

Marketing majors are required to create a portfolio of their best work prior to graduation.  Student utilize the portfolio as an interview tool to highlight their mastery of marketing skills to potential employers.
