The Department of Operations Management and Information Systems prepares students for professional careers relating to the analysis, design, implementation, and management of operations and information systems in organizations.

Practical exposure to operations analysis, logistics, project management, and leading-edge information technologies, together with in-depth participation on team projects provides our students with the knowledge, communication skills, and leadership experience that are demanded by today's business organizations.

OM&IS Open House and MIS Informational Sessions

The Spring 2017 OM&IS Open House is scheduled on Monday, February 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Barsema Hall 328. The Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MIS) will have two informational sessions on Monday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Barsema Hall 315 to give prospective candidates an opportunity to hear from OM&IS faculty, program advisor, and students. Feel free to contact Mr. Steven Kispert, Academic Program Advisor and Internship Coordinator, at 815-753-6372 or if you are interested in being an OM&IS or MIS major.

SAP Student Recognition Awards

By successfully completing a program of study that included a minimum of three courses supported by the SAP University Alliances(UA), the students are presented with SAP UA Student Recognition Awards that reflect hands-on experience in SAP-UA approved courses. learn more...
