Dr. Jason Underwood is a Senior Instructional Designer for Northern Illinois University eLearning Services and an Instructor for the Department of Educational Technology, Research and Assessment. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in instructional design, educational software development, technology integration, and games and simulations for learning. In his work with eLearning, Dr. Underwood designs and develops online learning programs, implements interactive learning environments, and provides technical and pedagogical support for University faculty teaching online. His research focuses on human performance technology, simulations, self-efficacy, and situated cognition.
