Sonja Herington joined Northern Illinois University in 1999. She currently serves the College of Business as Director of Special Projects. In this role, Sonja manages all international projects and assignments. She also coordinates the College's assessment and strategic planning activities. Prior to joining the college, Sonja held positions in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Psychology and Foreign Languages and Literatures Departments. Sonja is an NIU College of Business graduate. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in business administration and marketing with an emphasis in sales and a Master of Science in Business Administration.
