College of Business - NIU

"Much of the work I did for my ELC project I continue to do on a much larger scale in my current job. The project gave me a great depth of understanding on how to effectively run a research project from start to finish and use different tools to provide valuable insights to clients. The ELC allowed me to gain practical experience in running a focus group, writing surveys and coding responses."

"Most college projects are safe because no one is affected by your work. The ELC project carried more weight because the sponsor paid for it and it really meant something. I learned a lot about myself and the fundamentals of working with a group through this experience."
