Walmart is the second largest public corporation in the United States, and the third largest in the world. Walmart has asked the 2009 ELC team to study cross-format cannibalization. The team is working with the Walmart director of strategic finance to analyze the business impact of opening a store near an existing one. The goal is to identify the impact across the United States and provide Walmart with information to help them to continue strategic growth.
