Each semester ELC teams begin preparations for their final presentations with The 3S's of Successful Presentations workshop. The two hour workshop helps the ELC teams examine how the structure and substance of their presentations as well as the style in which they present can provide an engaging, memorable experience for the audience. The 3S's of Successful Presentations is presented by Bob Dean, a past project sponsor and current ELC Advisory Board member.
Mr. Dean has over 30 years of experience in accounting, professional services, and learning and professional development. He serves as Vice President, Learning & Talent Development, for Heidrick & Struggles, one of the leading executive search firms in the world. Bob focuses on aligning Heidrick & Struggles' global learning and development solutions with the firm's business and talent management strategies. He and the global Learning & Talent Development team are committed to design, development and delivery of compelling learning experiences using multiple learning delivery channels. Bob's presentation skills model, the 3S's of Successful Presentations, has been delivered to students participating in Northern Illinois University's Experiential Learning Center over the last three years.
