The Job Shadowing program in April of 2008 was a great success to NIU Students and local businesses that are club members. In summary, nearly 70 students were matched with Executive Club business (listed below) to provide real world insight and experience for a 1 day "snapshot" in the workplace for C.O.B. Students. The experience was extremely rewarding for the businesses to give back to NIU. For the students, the exposure and contacts at corporate levels was critical to their career paths and was well received for the day in the field. Our gratitude to Norm Goldenstein for the efforts in coordinating students with business is much appreciated as well as Sue Braffet for the coordination of University support and business contacts. Thank you to all those that participated and this year we will aim again to place 70+ students, so we will be looking for more members to get involved.
