NIU Executive Club Endowed Scholarship Fund Dinner Dance

Presented by Platinum Sponsor NIU Professional M.B.A. Program

November 5, 2005 – Hyatt Regency Woodfield

The 7th Annual NIU Executive Club Endowed Scholarship Gala was an exciting evening. It was an evening of fun, networking, and camaraderie – but more importantly, an evening of opportunities. Opportunities for the NIU Executive Club scholarship recipients to network with NIU alumni business leaders; as well as opportunities for scholarships for future exceptional students who aspire to become business leaders. Even the opportunity to further one's career by obtaining a Professional M.B.A. degree at the price of half the tuition was auctioned and purchased during the Live Auction.

The 2005 scholarship recipient, Ryan Lotich, addressed the attendees. He looks forward to the opportunities of getting to know and working with Executive Club members. Matthew Rasche, the 2005 Connection Scholar, was also introduced. All the scholars, both current and new, received an unexpected surprise when the Club announced the Scholarship Endowment Fund has grown sufficiently to be able to increase the current two-year scholarship to a four-year scholarship.

The result of this exciting evening with fine food, dancing, silent and live auctions, created opportunities for many years to come. Over $73,000 was raised for the Endowed Scholarship Fund!

You Can be a Part of This Excitement, too!

The College of Business sincerely appreciates the generous donations of time and resources offered by alumni and corporations to make this scholarship possible. The dinner dance committee chair, Roy Schultz ('00 Finance), and the committee members dedicated many hours of their time to make this evening such a huge success.
