Web Services Schema Migration
Information
As we have been communicating since February
2005, eBay's
Web Services will no longer support the
legacy schema after June 1, 2006. All
applications using eBay Web Services will need
to use the
unified schema after this date. Developers
Program members have an immediate financial
incentive to migrate their applications to the
unified schema as all API calls are free to
members who place calls using the unified
schema.
Due to continuing reduction in the volume of
changes to the legacy XML API and its
documentation, the last update to the main
documentation for the legacy XML API happened
for API version 449 on February 24, 2006. If you
have questions on during your migration, we have
now completed a restructuring of our
Developer Forums to be more closely aligned
with your development efforts.
