FMA International is a professional organization of financial executives, analysts, professors, and students who live and work around the world. We are currently the largest finance organization devoted to bridging the gap between finance theory and practice.
All majors in good academic standing can join FMA.
At NIU, FMA meets on Thursday nights at 7:00pm. Members are treated to a speaker—speakers include finance professionals, business entrepreneurs, and finance professors.
Your membership in FMA establishes you as a part of an important network of professionals in finance and expands your résumé by providing proof of your interest in your discipline.
Semester dues for the local NIU Chapter are $25. Please turn in your dues with the Chapter Application to an FMA Board Member or to the Department of Finance, BH 236.
Like most clubs and organizations, participation is necessary from our members. To measure members' participation, points are awarded for taking part in FMA's activities. When a certain level of points is attained, our active members are recognized.
