Alumni and friends of the College of Business have a long history of giving back to the college. Their generosity includes gifts toward programs, scholarships, technology, and facilities.
The recent gift from alumnus Dennis Barsema and his wife, Stacey, made the construction of a new college of business building possible and exemplifies the type of generosity shown to the college.
Many opportunities exist for giving to the College of Business and helping shape its future. These opportunities range from giving toward scholarships, professorships, or one of several endowments.
A number of naming opportunities still exist within Barsema Hall ranging from $10,000 to $500,000. With these gifts, an individual or organization are recognized with a permanent plaque on the room they select as well as recognition on the College of Business Wall of Honor. The donor selects the endowment(s) to which their gift goes. Only the interest from the gift is used thereby creating a permanent legacy to the college.
Currently, donors may split their gift in any manner among a technology or scholarship endowment.
