Ron Jacobs is president of Jacobs & Clevenger, which he founded in 1982. J&C is a Chicago based independent, multichannel marketing communications agency that provides Direct, Digital, Social CRM, and Brand Marketing solutions. Ron is also co-author with the late Bob Stone, of Successful Direct Marketing Methods, the 8th edition of which was published in January 2008. It is the best-selling book on the tools and techniques of direct and digital marketing, and has sold over 250,000 copies worldwide. Ron was the 2010 recipient of The John Caples' Competition, Andy Emerson Award, for lifetime achievement to the marketing community

Jen draws on more than 15 years of marketing expertise to solve client challenges across business verticals. Her tireless enthusiasm for fresh ideas, workable solutions and actionable answers has helped her build strong client relationships that deliver continued value over the long term.

As a member of the Northern Illinois University Interactive Advisory Board and the former president of the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association (CIMA), Jen is recognized for her expertise in all facets of interactive marketing. She has spoken on a wide range of marketing and online marketing topics at events both nationally and internationally.

Before founding FRED, Jen worked with Starcom MediaVest, offering guidance to powerful brands such as Disney, the U.S. Army, Allstate and Hallmark. A graduate of The University of Michigan, Jen is delighted to be able to offer her marketing insights to companies and organizations from coast to coast and around the world.

Neil Brown is Partner/Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Modern Marketing Partners, and Chairman of the Construction Marketing Association. Prior to these roles, he was CEO of numerous marketing consulting and creative agencies for the past 15 years managing some of the most respected brands in the world including Emerson Electric, USG, Omron Electronics, Amcor and Panasonic. Prior to the agency-side, Brown was a brand manager at Reliance Com/Tec, IDEAL Industries, and later CMO of a metals manufacturer. Neil earned an MBA from Northern Illinois University, and a BS-Marketing Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University. He is a frequent author, speaker and contributor to Marketing News, Advertising Age, BtoB magazine and many others. Neil is currently completing the book, Marketing Revolution: How to Deploy Modern Marketing. In 2009, he published his first book, Branding Best Practices: A Guide to Product and Company Naming.

Adam Garcia's curiosity in the Internet began in 1993 when his university gave all new undergraduates mandatory e-mail addresses. This requirement sparked a pursuit to learn all things Internet related, and he successfully learned the HTML language on his own. After graduating from the University of Illinois, Adam set his sights on The Marketing Store Worldwide (TMSW), where he developed and implemented an HR intranet site. This led to a project of producing and overseeing two websites for the McDonald's Corporation: Ronald.com and McWorld.com. From there, Adam transitioned to Abercrombie & Kent, a luxury world tour provider, to work with their network of travel agencies. After a successful run, Adam progressed to Hammacher Schlemmer, the world's oldest catalog, and managed paid keyword search, affiliate, and email marketing. He went on to DePaul University to work as a web-master of the College of Commerce, focusing on SEO efforts, while at the same time studying for an MBA in Marketing and Finance. After procuring his MBA, Adam worked for Resolution Media, a boutique agency in Chicago specializing in SEM. Today, Adam is a Sr. Manager at the Walgreen's Corporation Customer Acquisition's team, headquartered in Chicago. Adam lives in Chicago with his wife Gabriela and maintains his connection to DePaul University with his role as an Adjunct Professor in the Marketing department, teaching MKT 595, Internet Marketing.

Dana VanDen Heuvel, Founder, The Marketing Savant Group
Dana VanDen Heuvel is the founder of the marketing consulting firm, The MarketingSavant Group. An award-winning marketing blogger, Dana is also the author of the American Marketing Association's "Marketech Guide to Marketing Technology" and their "Guide to Social Network Marketing" and the creator of the AMA's TechnoMarketing training series, Advanced Social Media training series and B2B Social Media training series.

Dana is a widely recognized expert on thought leadership marketing, social media, blogging, podcasting, RSS, Internet communities and interactive marketing trends and best practices and speaks at over 50 events each year on these and other marketing topics at industry and private client events. Dana consults with dozens of clients each year on social media and marketing strategy.

Recognized as one of the "50 People You Should Know" by the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce, Dana serves on several advisory boards for nonprofits and community organizations in and around Wisconsin. Dana is also an adjunct professor at St. Norbert College and teaches a course on social media and thought leadership marketing.


Rob Jackson, Global Customer Integration ECRM, Dell Rob Jackson
Rob Jackson co-authored the highly successful and industry standard book, Strategic Database Marketing with Paul Wang. Jackson has held senior leadership positions with companies including: Bluestem Brands, Acxiom, Donnelley Marketing, DMB&B, JWT Direct and co-founded KnowledgeBase Marketing.

In his current position, Jackson is director of global director of platform integration for Dell's consumer, small and medium business groups. In that capacity, he leads data acquisition, eCRM global databases and eCRM services.

Jackson is active in several industry associations and is past-chair of the DMA's Ethic Policy Committee and Marketing, Technology and Internet Committee. He is also a past-president of the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing and the 2000 Downs Award Winner and 2001 Direct Marketer of the Year. Rob currently serves on the Northern Illinois University Business School Interactive Marketing Advisory Board.


Jasbir Patel, Director, Walgreens Photo of Patel
Jasbir Patel is the General Merchandise Manager for Walgreens.com in-store and on-line Photo business. Jasbir joined Walgreens in 1988 as a service clerk in our stores. He was promoted to Assistant Manager in 1996 and promoted to Executive Store Manager in 1999. He moved to the corporate headquarters and became a merchandise coordinator of E-commerce in 2000. Jasbir was named associate category manager in 2001 and was promoted to category manager in the 2004. He managed several self-service categories on-line, and then moved over to managing the new online photo center in 2005. Jasbir is part of the senior leadership team at Walgreens.com and is currently the General Manager for all of Walgreen company photo business.

Jasbir received his B.S in History in 1996 and an executive master's in business administration from Northern Illinois University in 2007.

Vice President Marketing Solutions, oversees the Automotive and Agency Verticals at ComScore. Geoff is responsible for developing and fostering strategic relationships and delivering key insights for marketing campaigns. ComScore is a global leader in measuring the digital world and the preferred source of digital marketing intelligence. Through a powerful combination of behavioral and survey insights, ComScore enables clients to better understand, leverage and profit from the rapidly evolving worldwide web and mobile arena. Geoff graduated with an MBA from Northern Illinois University in 2005.

David Tzau is responsible for the search marketing program at CDW covering PPC, SEO, and on-domain search. David joined CDW in 2001 and has been working in both technical and marketing roles to support the company's E-Commerce initiatives. Before joining CDW, David was a consultant delivering Internet solutions for such clients as Nabisco, Guardian Life Insurance, Allstate, and Weyerhauser.

David earned a BS in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, and a MBA from Northern Illinois University.


Jennifer Veesenmeyer, Chief Operating Officer, Stratigent LLC Jennifer Veesenmeyer
Jennifer has served as the Vice President of Analytics at Stratigent since 2009, where she has specialized in assisting enterprise-level organizations overcome the communication challenges of web analytics, such as gaining executive buy-in, building consensus and facilitating cultural change. She is highly regarded as an industry thought leader and is frequently asked to conduct educational presentations on the topic of meaningful reports.

In a former life, Jennifer managed a team of SEO professionals at a large Internet marketing company. Her 12 years of marketing communication experience includes several years as the Communications Director at an international affiliation of law firms as well as a few years of working with software resellers, associations and non-profit organizations.

Jennifer holds a Master's Degree in International Communication from Purdue University and has repeatedly been published in leading business and trade publications, including Global Law & Business, Legal Management, Marketing for Lawyers and Boston Business Journal.
