How did the MBA program change you as a person and/or a professional?
While working and going through the Full-time MBA program there were many challenges I had to face. The MBA program taught me to never stop working as hard as you can towards your goals. Find a passion in what you are doing and hang on to it. If your passion is gone it might be time to move on to something else.
There is a helpful support group in the NIU MBA community. Use them when a question needs to be answered or you are looking for new opportunities.
What advice would you give to an aspiring MBA student?
Take the time in and outside of the classroom to really understand the concepts and theories your instructors are trying to teach you. These can and will be used later on in your professional career as you move through different jobs or positions.
Never be afraid to take a risk. As long as you have done your research and put in 100% effort into your endeavors you are bound for success.
What are your current interests and hobbies?
My current interests and hobbies are woodworking, working on my house, rebuilding a corvette and playing soccer.
