Why did you choose the Evening MBA format?
Convenience and proximity of the regional campuses to work and home. Also, provided an opportunity to connect with other professionals working in the Chicagoland area.
How did the MBA program change you as a person and/or a professional?
The NIU MBA program offered me an opportunity to assess my strengths and weaknesses. As a I progressed through the program, I was able to collect experiences and knowledge that help me grow as a professional.
What advice would you give to an aspiring MBA student?
As an MBA student you will face a challenging and rigorous academic curriculum. The most important key to success will be finding a work-life balance in combination with a passion to succeed within the MBA program.
What are your current interests and hobbies?
My interests and hobbies include researching trends in professional and intercollegiate athletics, reading self-help and motivational literature, staying current on technology trends, and spending time with my family.
What blogs, magazines or newspapers do you read to stay up-to-date?
I try my best to read Bloomberg Businessweek, The New York Times, SportsBusiness Journal, and The Chronicle of Higher Education.
