Management Department
Welcome to the Management Department Web Site! The dedicated faculty and staff use their expertise in management to transform our students' professional futures and contribute its abilities to the business community and academic communities.
The Management Department is proud of the opportunities we provide for our students to help them develop critical management and technical skills necessary to succeed in today's business world. Our students engage with talented faculty with deep expertise in management to gain an understanding of and insight into the contemporary issues that practicing managers face in their organizations. Our graduates develop the problem-solving skills necessary to address those issues with confidence.
Our program in human resources management provides students with a strong foundation in all the key areas of the human resource management function. Our graduates are prepared to contribute to organizations as a human resource generalist or specialist. Our program in organizational management provides students with opportunities to develop leadership capabilities which enable them to take on many managerial responsibilities in many different types of organizations. The department also provides external leadership and learning experiences through guest speakers, student organizations, and internships through our professional network of devoted alumni.
Whether our students pursue an emphasis in organizational management or human resources management, their education in management provides them the basis for interesting and engaging professional lives.
