Congratulations to our Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter for its successful application to host the 2007 HR Regional Games. In April, we will host student teams from 20-25 business schools throughout the Midwest who will compete to demonstrate their knowledge of human resource management principles and practices. HR practitioners will also participate in the competition by serving as speakers and judges. The winner of April's competition will go to Washington, DC later in the year to compete in the national HR competition. A special thanks to Terry Bishop, SHRM's faculty advisor, for guiding the students through the application process to make this opportunity possible.
