SHRM-NIU offers its members a variety of activities, such as networking opportunities with professional chapters in Chicago, Rockford, Oakbrook and other locations. Other activities include guest speaker programs, internship programs, student and national conferences, workshops, a mock interview fund-raiser, and social events (see Upcoming Events). Membership includes monthly professional mailings of HR Magazine, HR Resource news monthly and the Echoes student newsletter.
