Welcome to the new Marketing Insights Newsletter from the new editors! When we took over the reigns of the Newsletter from the very capable hands of John Bennett, little did we realize the effort that would be required to put together something that would spark the interest of our learned members! We believe that you will find the new Marketing Insights to be informative, entertaining and useful. As you navigate through the demanding world of academia (we do not jest), we hope that Marketing Insights becomes one of your sources for ideas, inspirations, and updates on the MMA.
We have tried to incorporate a diverse set of topics in the Newsletter—from classroom developments to academic advances in marketing. The four sections of Marketing Insights provide an encompassing view of the discipline from various angles. So, we hope that you would not only read the Newsletter with interest but also consider contributing to future issues. We welcome any suggestions for improvement in the Newsletter. We also want to thank all contributors who have shared their ideas for this issue and wish you all a very productive and successful year.
