Awards and Scholarships 2009

The Department of Marketing will be awarding scholarships and monetary awards at their Annual Scholars' Ceremony on March 28, 2009. The scholarships and awards range from $500 - $2500. Interested students must meet all of the eligibility requirements and submit articles of criteria by the due date of February 2, 2009 to Dept. of Marketing, BH 128.

Eligibility:

  1. Declared marketing major
  2. Successfully completed UBUS 310
  3. Minimum 2.75 Cum GPA

Criteria:

  1. Interest in the field for which you are applying as evidenced by course work, internship, extra-curricular activities, or other work
  2. Resume
  3. Completed application form
  4. Cover letter stating why you should be considered for an award

The areas of study that students may apply are:

  • General Marketing
  • Interactive Marketing
  • Professional Sales

Additional areas of consideration are:

  • International Marketing
  • Retailing
  • AMA Member
  • MHS Member
