How do I change my major?

If you would like to change your major, you need to contact the Undergraduate Studies office, Barsema Hall 201, (815-753-1325).


Where do I go for advisement?

Advisement for lower level business majors is provided by the Undergraduate Studies Office, Barsema Hall 201, (815) 753-1325. However, once in the upper level business program, students should contact their major advisor:

How do I find and register for classes?

Course schedules are only available online. You may browse course listings at www.courselistings.niu.edu/SchedBook/servlet/Search.

Visit WebConnect once you have found your classes for formal registration. For further instructions on registration, please see complete directions provided by the Office of Records and Registration here.

Courses located off the NIU-DeKalb campus can be found at www.outreach.niu.edu/rcc/.


How do I find where my class is located?

There are two directory kiosks which are located near the 1st and 2nd floor main entrance doors of Barsema Hall.

These touch screen kiosks allow you to locate, via a virtual map, faculty & staff members, college departments, or individual classrooms. In addition, the kiosks contain information about College of Business programs.

Is there training available to help me with Barsema technology?

Yes. There is online training available at www.cob.niu.edu/cobtech/training.asp. In addition, questions can be emailed to cobtech@niu.edu.
