Once you leave the College of Business and the OM&IS Department, we hope that you will take some time to stay in touch with us. Steve Kispert (skispert@niu.edu) has an alumni group that he emails once or twice a year on what is currently happening in the department and the college. If you would like to be part of that, be sure to let him know your email address.
Also, the NIU Alumni Association and Alumni Relations in the College of Business are very active groups. These might be good ways to stay connected with all your OM&IS friends.
As a student, you may have had the opportunity to talk with an OM&IS alumni who came back to do a student organization or class presentation, or you may have spoken with an alum at the OM&IS Meet the Firm or one of the Job Fairs. If you get a chance, we hope to see you back on campus as well.
In an effort to stay current on types of positions that companies are hiring for and their salary ranges, we ask that you let us know when you have accepted a permanent position. The department sends out a survey several months after graduation. Please let us know what you are doing! The salary information is confidential and used to generate department salary statistics.
