In accordance with the AACSB – International Strategic Management Standards, each year (during the spring semester) the SPC formally recommends annual college goals for the following academic year. These recommended goals emanate from the work of the SPC action teams for the current year and subsequently are submitted to the Strategic Planning Council at-large for review (and possible revision), approval, and forwarding to the NIU College of Business Dean and/or appropriate standing body – College Senate/College Curriculum Committee/College Council – or administrative office for adoption, implementation, and financial resources (where applicable).
At this point, the work officially becomes the college's annual goals for the upcoming strategic planning cycle.
