Student Career Preparation
- Strategic Objective #1: Student Career Preparation
DISPOSITION OF THE WORK: FALL 2001
In Fall 2001, the SPC activities for Student Career Preparation (under the umbrella of the Business Outcomes Assessment Team) were approved and forwarded to College Senate.
In Spring 2003, the SPC action team created a Student Career Planner, a resource that includes career development activities in which College of Business students may engage throughout their undergraduate career. Also in Spring 2003, the Career Planner was distributed to UBUS 310 students. It will be posted on the College of Business website sometime in Fall 2003.
Each year, a Business Outcomes Assessment Report -- with supporting assessment data -- will be prepared and forwarded to the appropriate standing committees for action based on those assessment results cited in the report:
- College Curriculum. Outcomes:
- Business Communication;
- Problem Solving;
- Technical Expertise (Common Business Knowledge), and;
- Technological Expertise.
- College of Business Senate. Outcomes:
- Student Career Preparation, and;
- Learner Recruitment (both undergraduate and graduate).
