The Donald R. Larson scholarship has been established by Donald Larson, former Executive Director of Enrollment Services at NIU. Mr. Larson received a Master of Science degree in Management from NIU. He has been a driving force in the University's transition from mainframe to Internet technologies. His student-service orientation has made a significant difference for students, faculty and staff campus wide.
Recipient shall demonstrate academic promise which may include, but is not limited to, meeting minimum admission criteria, involvement in extra-curricular activities (excluding athletics), letters of recommendation, and/or the student's own academic goals statement. This scholarship is for incoming freshmen.
