Dr. Cripe joined the NIU faculty in 2006 after completion of his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska. At NIU, Brad teaches taxation of business entities and individuals to undergraduates and advanced issues in taxation to graduate students in the Master of Accounting Science program. While at Nebraska, Brad received both the College of Business Graduate Teaching Award and the University of Nebraska Graduate Teaching Award. Brad is also a CPA licensed in the state of Texas.
Brad's primary research interest involves the study of tax and audit procurement decisions for publicly traded companies. He is also interested in research in education and ethics, as well as financial accounting. Brad has published in the ATA Journal of Legal Tax Research.
