Membership is open to any student enrolled at Northern Illinois University. Members may be any major or discipline.
Membership may be obtained by attending at least 4 organizational meetings or events:
(2 Professional meetings, 1 Service event, and 1 Social event)
However, members are encouraged to participate in all organizational gatherings, excluding Executive Board meetings.
Members are expected to maintain business professional standards and bring credibility for WIBP as well as the Northern Illinois University.
Those affiliated with the organization must be respectful of fellow members as well as to partners of the organization.
Failure to abide by these standards may result in disciplinary action such as suspension or expulsion from WIBP.
Meetings
Dues
Currently there are no fees/dues required for membership.
However, dues may be mandatory or voluntary in order to cover certain transportation fees or other material costs.
Discrimination
WIBP does not and will not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, political views, sexual orientations,
or any other factors outlined in the Northern Illinois University Discrimination policy.
