College of Business Young Professionals Club

Through a partnership with Northern Illinois University's College of Business and NIU's Executive Club, the NIU Young Professionals Network (YPN) has emerged with the goal of helping to foster and track the rising success of NIU's young alumni within the business community.

Developed by impassioned and enterprising NIU College of Business graduates, the YPN encourages enthusiastic recent graduates, who have an interest in business and who make action their priority, to join the YPN. To become a member you must have a degree from Northern Illinois University with less than 15 years since receipt of most recent NIU degree.

YPN Network Events

YPN events focus on three themes: skill development, team building, and business insights. Themes rotate each quarter and take place on or around the same time of the month. Events will be held in Chicago and surrounding areas. view calendar of events...

YPN Mission

  • To create a network of Northern Illinois University alumni that will facilitate interaction amongst the University's alumni community, both personally and professionally.
  • To provide current College of Business students access to alumni for career advice, job opportunities and networking events.
  • To establish an organization that encourages alumni to give back to the College of Business.
  • To foster and develop members for consideration to join Northern Illinois University's Executive Club.
