Operations Management and Information Systems (OM&IS)
The Department of Operations Management and Information Systems prepares students for professional careers relating to the analysis, design, implementation, and management of operations and information systems in organizations.
The operations and information management program stresses the integration of the areas of business operations, information systems, and logistics, and the related use of information technology, to prepare students for significant entry-level positions in the new economy.
Exposure to the areas of operations analysis, supply chain management, project management, and other leading-edge information technologies, and participation on several team projects, provide students with the knowledge, communication skills, and leadership experience that are demanded by the professional business community.
