Office Administrator and Assistant to the Chair
B.S., Business Administration, Illinois State University
Hagenbuch graduated from Heartland Community College (HCC) in 2012 with her associate's degree and from Illinois State University (ISU) in 2014 with her bachelor's degree. She started her career in higher education as a peer mentor and orientation leader at HCC and continued similar roles at ISU.
After graduation, Hagenbuch worked part-time at a private organization, but she missed the community engagement opportunities that can only be found on a university campus. So, when a position opened up in housing services at her alma mater, she jumped at the chance. From there, her passion and knowledge of working in higher education has grown, and she has made meaningful and lifelong connections along the way.
In her current role, Hagenbuch is afforded more opportunities to work directly with students and partners across campus. Through these opportunities, she hopes to build her current skills and knowledge so she may further contribute to the growth of her community in a meaningful way.
