Biography

Amin Vahedian is currently an Assistant Professor of Information Systems with Northern Illinois University. He received a Ph.D. in Business Analytics in 2019 from Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. With a background in engineering, Dr. Vahedian enjoys research and teaching at the intersection of Applied Computing and Business. His research interests are in Business Analytics, Machine Learning, Non-Parametric Bayesian Machine Learning, Deep Learning Applications and Spatial Big Data Analytics. His work has resulted in numerous top tier journal publications such as IEEE and ACM transactions, in addition to several presentations and proceedings in highly selective conferences.
